We hunt and process the mushrooms ourselves!
We got real woodsy on this one. We love drinking mushrooms in our coffee. It sounds unpleasant until you realize that this mushroom blends so well with coffee. You usually cannot even taste it, but it adds dimension and a depth of flavor you may get hooked on.
Turkey tail is used in medicine for inflammation, immunity, gut and brain health.
We walk around in the woods each year and pick our turkey tail ourselves. To process correctly, you have to pressure cook them until you can extract the beta glucans stored in their fibers. Once cooked ridiculously hard, they are freeze dried to keep their goodness, then blended and milled with coffee- making for a quick cup of tasty coffee with awesome health benefits! Enjoy!
This is a first come, first serve product as hunt for the mushrooms ourselves, so we can process them with scrutiny. We may be out here and there.
This is a RED SHED product, which is Frau Fowler’s PMA shed (an actual location). This shed serves local food products, including our own. We add these products to our website if they are shippable items.
