The stalking & harassment stopped.  We spent the Yule holiday drinking egg nog (celtic for "egg and groggin" and made all kinds of fun ways all over the world), pulled fresh ginger from the greenhouse to make beer, had friends over, and had a trustee meeting (Frau Fowler is not owned by anyone, nor are our "possessions" owned by us). We had a very quiet holiday. I spent most of it reading obscure history and trying to "come down" from the absolute terrorism of the last few months, and getting ourselves grounded again in our beliefs. Here's some of our PERSONAL highlights for 2025! Made meade (honey beer) for the first time. Picked the most gorgeous mushrooms all year long in the forest: 40lbs of Chicken of the Woods, 20lbs+ of chanterelles, ate my first wild shitake (an incredible truffle-like taste). Had the best hikes and runs in the woods this year. Really got the greenhouse going and learned a lot about horticulture!  Made my first air cuttings, grew our first peaches, lemongrass, ginger, blackberries, figs, avocadoes, arugula, citrus, pineapple, potatoes and more! Made elderberry cough syrup-it's great! I'll probably offer it to PMA members (real Brandy). Made deodorant with a secret roasted salt ingredient- It works great! Made fermented pepper hot sauce which became a winner with all of our friends.  It ages for 9 months! Made 50 gallons of Muscadine wine (from picking 650lbs of grapes this year)! To PMA Members: Ben and I filed a case against our Sheriff for multiple derelictions of duty since we have been here in Tennessee. The truth is, the problem HERE is just a representation of the problem EVERYWHERE.  We cannot in GOOD CONSCIENCE look away from the health problems of the children at the schools. A fun month in pictures: We are waiting to hear back from the court since we petitioned for a grand jury to address local corruption.  Ben and my mother had birthdays!  We picked grapes, picked mushrooms and made gourmet dishes, and had fun living outside on most days!

Well, it's that time of the year again, when we all sweat like crazy so we can go look at oddities, buy everything FROM EVERYONE (no corporations allowed), and talk it up about any and all things. The yard sale is here.   It starts August 7th - August 10th.  It secretly starts the week before that! LOL. In fact, people are already setting their tents up right now and we would know, because Frau Fowler's campus is literally ON ROUTE and in one of the best places on 690 miles of road that the yard sale is on!  Many people come to this spot ONLY because it's so damn good. Traveling and Living Differently: A Few Words of Inspiration We took 2005 Gillig City Bus (that was bought at auction from someone for $3900, then sold to us for $5900), and we turned it into an apartment on wheels! When we moved Frau Fowler  (it took 3 x 53' foot trailer trucks), we turned a city bus into a house so that we could move our business, our home and our family, and we lived in the bus while we fixed our new Frau Fowler building up! With the rising costs of houses (which is outrageous and retarded), we think getting a sweet deal on a bus and turning it into a home/ travel vehicle is the way to go if you're AMBITOUS and YOUNG and WANT TO REALLY LEARN BY DOING!
