WE QUIT SOCIAL MEDIA.

2021-09-08T11:32:48-04:00September 8th, 2021|

GOODBYE SOCIAL MEDIA A few weeks ago, we posted a video that was on YouTube directly related to an OSHA document that was saying vaccine injuries do not have to be reported if and when a company mandates vaccination.  The video was removed by YouTube, but on Facebook they showed it to 1 follower of ours (out of thousands) and the link to the video was removed all together. When you see censorship for yourself, it is actually chilling. Besides the censorship and suppression issue, we really feel that we cannot support or be a part of something that is: 1) addictive, 2) creating mental illness & isolation issues, and 3) feeding the division among people. Only several LARGE tech groups control the increasingly digital world of online advertisement space and UNLIKE the break up of big communications back in the 80s/90s, we have had none of that happen!  In fact, they have been given tax breaks and now want to get into “security” for the US, as reported in the Wall Street [...]

Mouth Magic got its color.

2021-08-04T13:55:36-04:00August 4th, 2021|

Mouth Magic got its color. ...we're never doing THAT again. For those who are new, Frau Fowler bought a Gillig city bus (the ultimate recycling project) and is using it for transporting ourselves and adopted fur family out to North Carolina, where we will hopefully be moving into our new facility...errr, sometime this year (hopefully). Since we have an entire warehouse to move and we have to stay in production daily, the bus will provide SOME comfort during the process. This past month we finally painted it Frau Fowler’s specific pantone that’s blue meets purple. In conclusion, we won’t be doing THAT again. Specifically speaking on painting an entire bus the proper way (4 coats) and during the worst hail storm/ lightning we’ve had all year. Stopping every 5-10 minutes to let the sweat pour out of our gloves...we finished in one long, miserable weekend. The good news is that we feel painting an actual car would be easy now.  We are also thrilled that we got to do something different. If you haven’t seen [...]

Change is Rewarding

2021-07-02T14:09:21-04:00July 1st, 2021|

Change is Rewarding In 2016 Frau Fowler got it's start in a sleepy town of Woodland Park, Colorado. Working was hard at 8,500 feet and the top of Pikes Peak summit (14,000+ feet) was right outside our door.  Our neighbors were the automotive racing legends, the Vahsholtzs.  Codie Vahsholtz (you can see him race at Pike's Peak Hill Climb here) used to help us unload equipment with his forklift.  We loved the mountains, but we outgrew our location and had to leave. In 2018 we moved into Colorado Springs, into a space 6 times larger.  Our landlords are wonderful, down to earth people and have been supportive of our "wild" company. We thought we'd be here for a long time. But in 2020, something was just not right.  We made the decision to move again.  Some of the reasons were personal and some were purely knowing that we've maxed out what we can do here!  We can't grow properly and we want this company to stay independent.  While many don't give much credence to being independent, I think as [...]

The Elephant In The Room

2021-06-08T14:49:42-04:00June 8th, 2021|

The Elephant in the Room. Frau Fowler is first and foremost a WELLNESS company.  Your health IS very important to us. This email may be a little uncomfortable, but writing it is not easy either!  But I’m a truth seeker. I’m not a propagandist and I’m pretty much in the CENTER, where I really would like to see most people GET BACK IN TO. My own personal experience with autoimmune disease and Lyme disease (including Lupus), started with a tick bite and the pathogenic bacteria that is Lyme disease was my introduction to biological warfare, and those in the Lyme community are aware of the not so mysterious origins (the lab off the coast of NY), where many books elaborate on the outbreak. When you’re ill with so many UNKNOWN issues, the help that is prescribed is typically experimental and involves many pharmaceuticals (which I'm not against, insulin keeps my dad alive these days). What you realize is that finding health care that understands the big picture is practically nonexistent.  If [...]

Acidic Saliva and How Saliva pH Is Important To Oral Health!

2021-05-06T14:30:59-04:00May 6th, 2021|

Acidic Saliva and How Saliva pH Effects Oral health The saliva pH in your mouth determines if you're mouth is healthy or unhealthy. Low pH (acidic saliva), supports bacteria growth, increases your chance of cavities, tooth decay and gum disease. Most healthy people have a "normal" saliva pH of around 7.  When acidic foods, beverages, even tap water and even dental products can tip the pH creating an imbalance that supports enamel demineralization.  Acidic saliva that is around 5.5 pH is very problematic. Saliva pH gets effected quite easily by diet, medications, tobacco use and other lifestyle factors.  It's probably safe to say, that the average pH of saliva for today's human is definitely not 7.4. And since the medications are the NEW standard of living, even medications for mental health, can create dry mouth and acidic saliva pH...which is all the more reason to try to adopt a natural-first approach (where possible and IF possible)! Here's Colgate®'s tips on reducing acidic saliva pH: Avoid or limit [...]

Nanohydroxyapatite and Dicalcium Phosphate For Remineralizing Oral Care

2021-10-14T12:20:22-04:00March 31st, 2021|

Nanohydroxyapatite & Dicalcium Phosphate For Remineralzing Early Caries We added a nano form of Hydroxyapatite (HAp) and dicalcium phosphate.  In tandem, along with all of the other ingredients in our products, you will receive EXTRA enamel remineralizing POWER! These two ingredients, stick to the FF creed, of providing benefits while also being edible.  Both are highly bioavailable forms of calcium.  Let’s get to know your ingredients: Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a member of calcium phosphate, and it has a Ca/P ratio of 1.67 which is identical to bone apatite. The main substance of our teeth is HAp (97 % of enamel and 70 % of dentin). In oral applications: Nano-hydroxyapatite (nano-HAp) can effectively remineralize and repair tooth surface, also improves the antimicrobial properties and tooth sensitivity. You've probably already figured it out for yourselves, and have the dental visits to prove it, that you don’t actually need fluoride and the Frau Fowler innovation of NO RINSE (and it being edible) is a solid oral care product that can you make [...]

Vit D for Good Teeth, Supports Remineralization

2021-03-31T15:13:41-04:00March 31st, 2021|

Besides being a VERY good supplement to take during COVID, it also regulates calcium in the intestines and how that calcium is absorbed (or not). Chron's disease, colitis and really any other type of conditions that cause malabsorption in the intestines can disrupt calcium regulation, which can adversely (and very severely) support DE-mineralization processes of bone (bone loss impacts enamel health). Vit D is critical to calcium absorption.  As we mentioned before in a previous newsletter the IMPACT of doing a food allergy test (ALCAT), and how this helps you avoid specific foods that cause inflammation in the bowels (more common and even silent than most would believe).  If your teeth are suffering, focus on gut health and increasing Vit D.  A Vit D test is easily available for around $25-50 dollars at walk-in labs, like Any Labs Now or through your healthcare provider. Even more important to know, it's not just an "old persons" problem.  25% to 50% or more of patients commonly encountered in clinical practice are deficient in [...]

Surprise, we have autism. World Autism Day, April 2nd

2021-04-02T12:48:08-04:00March 31st, 2021|

Surprise, we have autism.  World Autism Day, April 2nd. With the assault on talented and gifted programs and the push towards a George Orwellian “Utopia” and mass censorship that’s been happening, we feel at Frau Fowler, it’s important to celebrate this World Autism Day, with a surprise.  The founders of Frau Fowler are on the spectrum. Autism is considered a disability.  It’s not necessarily the image that is sometimes portrayed in media of quirky college kids, writing code. For many, it’s not just a mental condition, it’s also a physical one, that requires lifelong care. The word: SPECTRUM, really does describe it.  There are those who will need their parent’s assistance for life and may need special schooling and care.  Some are late-bloomers, like the movie, “The 40 Year Old Virgin.” Those who don’t consider themselves disabled, can have remarkable talents and usually use the term “Asperger’s,” which describes high functioning neuro-diverse people. These people may also be aware of (or unaware of), their social function not being like most.  [...]

Foods For Good Teeth

2021-01-29T13:56:41-05:00January 29th, 2021|

Foods For Good Teeth Eating the right foods is good for the overall health of a person and sometimes bad nutrition can lead to dental health problems.   There are two areas of food to look at 1) foods that provide the right internal health to support good oral care, and 2) foods that physically can clean teeth. Foods that physically clean teeth Fruits and vegetables are especially beneficial because chewing firm, coarse, watery, and fibrous foods help you produce saliva, removing leftover food particles.   If you’re somewhere you can’t get to brushing till later in the day, ending a meal with a vegetable, which is alkaline and water is a good “teeth saver” idea. Problems with FRUITS Fruits have benefits if they are coarse and can help remove particles from between teeth.  Apples, for example, are great choices.  Citrus fruit, not so much.  Some fruits have lower pH (acid), which left on the teeth can cause erosion.  Many people who love fruit juice or do juice cleanses [...]
